Families
Please call for pricing for large family sessions (extended/multiple families) as these take more planning and shooting/editing time (pricing based on the number of groupings and individuals). These sessions (especially if small children are included) can often require more extensive editing to ensure everyone looks their best in the photos.
Newborns
I provide some neutral-colored swaddles/wraps and blankets to use, but also love to include any special wraps/mementos that you received for your new one.
Please allow adequate time the day of a newborn session. Sessions can take anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours. I find we can capture the best images if baby (and mom and dad, too!) is well rested, well fed and relaxed--so you may want to tell family and friends to visit another day, and leave this day just for our session. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and I will spend whatever time it takes to get the images I feel capture the beauty of you and your baby.
I recommend booking your newborn session at least two months before your due date. I book a limited number of newborn sessions each month to ensure I can shoot each session within two weeks of baby's homecoming--because, I know, babies have a mind of their own and don't always come on time!
Weddings
The Simple

This package may be simple but the images you receive will make you feel like your day was grand. Includes one photographer for up to 5 hours of coverage on your special day.
The Chic
$2350
This package provides the just-right fit for your day. Two photographers, 8 hours of coverage, an engagement session and an 8x8 classic layflat press book of images (can be used as a wedding album or guest book at the wedding).
The Luxe
$2950
This package includes everything your special day deserves! Two photographers, 10 hours of coverage, an online gallery of hi-res images with printing rights, an engagement session with 8x8 classic press book and an 8x8 custom, signature album.

What is your style?
My editing style is usually called bold and emotional. I prefer warm tones and lighting that draws the eye to my subject. I specialize in a mix of portrait and lifestyle photography, which means I work hard to capture a mix of images that include both my subject looking at the camera and engaging with each other--but always with a focus on connection, emotion and authenticity. My goal is to deliver images that will hang on your walls for years, not just because they feature the people you love the most but also because they are timeless.
How long are sessions?
Unlike many photographers, I don't place a time limit on family and maternity sessions (though, as a rule of thumb, they are generally between one and two hours depending on they type of session, whether there are multiple children involved, etc.). Instead, I spend the time necessary to capture what I feel is a good variety of images that represents your unique bond as a family. I find this eliminates the stress and headaches that parents often feel leading up to and during a session. I want you to have fun during our time together, not stress! And I also think this helps me capture the best portraits of children because they are given the time necessary to feel comfortable with me and just be themselves.
What kind of gear do you use?
I use Nikon systems and shoot on prime lenses, whenever possible. My primary camera body is a d750 (full-frame sensor). My backup body is a d7000. I also carry the following lenses: Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4, Nikon 50mm f/1.8, Nikon 105mm f/2.8 macro, Sigma Art 85mm f/1.4. I also use a Nikon sb800 flash as necessary.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You never have to order prints through me, regardless of the package you choose. I do however recommend using a professional-grade lab. I use Millers Lab for all of my prints. They offer a wide variety of high-quality archival papers and products, and they have a fast turn-around time (often only two days!). Not to mention their color reproduction and consistency is superior to any other lab I've tried. There's nothing worse than ordering hundreds of dollars worth of prints and albums only to have green or orange skin and terrible color casts! For my packages that include digital files, I always recommend printing through Millers' consumer lab Mpix.com.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Absolutely! I will hike the mountains or get my toes dirty in the sand right alongside you. If you're thinking about a destination wedding, please reach out for more information on travel fees and package prices.
Will there be a second shooter (weddings)?
Some of my packages include a second shooter. That being said, I work hard to cover all of the important memories of your day regardless of the package you choose and whether it includes a second shooter. While having a second does make my job easier, it will not impact the quality of your images or the moments I capture.
How Creative Can I Be at my Senior Session?
The more creative, the better. I am down for whatever your vision is and will work hard to help you achieve it in your images.
